Eric Hsu

Eric Hsu is a New York City-based photographer who is particularly drawn to capturing subtle moments and stories in everyday life. He is a member of the NYC Street Photography Collective (NYC-SPC), a group of street photographers dedicated to the art of capturing life in public spaces.

His work was featured in the 2017 Print Swap exhibit at Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park and can be found in several NYC-SPC zines (Winter 2017 Zine and Fall 2016 Zine).

While on assignment for NYCgo, the official marketing organization for New York City, Eric photographed Flushing, Coney Island, and Brighton Beach to inspire people to experience the city’s neighborhoods, small business, and arts communities. Eric’s photos of Flushing, Coney Island, and Brighton Beach can be found here. Additional photos of Flushing can be found here and Coney Island/Brighton Beach here.

Beyond street photography, Eric volunteers with a local non-profit called Apex for Youth and has taken photos at several events including the 9th Annual Casino Night and Inaugural Summit.
