Eric Hsu is a New York City-based photographer who is particularly drawn to capturing subtle moments and stories in everyday life. He is a member of the NYC Street Photography Collective (NYC-SPC), a group of street photographers dedicated to the art of capturing life in public spaces.
His work was featured in the 2017 Print Swap and 2018 NYC-SPC exhibits at Photoville in Brooklyn Bridge Park and can be found in several NYC-SPC zines.
While on assignment for NYCgo, the official marketing organization for New York City, Eric photographed Flushing, Coney Island, Brighton Beach, Lower Manhattan, Midtown Manhattan, Meatpacking, and Times Square to inspire people to experience the city’s neighborhoods, small business, and arts communities. Eric also volunteers with a local non-profit called Apex for Youth and has taken photos at several events including the 9th Annual Casino Night and Inaugural Summit.
