I started this LIfe in Taiwan series to capture everyday life in Taipei, Taiwan. For me, film is the perfect way to portray the aesthetic of Taipei — from the busy streets to the quiet alleys to the major historical sites that shape its identity.

I believe photography is the only medium that can truly hold a moment in time. No scene ever repeats itself in quite the same way — light shifts, people move, and the rhythm of a place is always in flux. Through film, both 35mm and 120mm, I try to preserve these fleeting intersections of chance and presence.
