Life in Taiwan

As featured on Shoot It With Film and A Broad and Ample Road

The ongoing Life in Taiwan series captures everyday life in Taipei, Taiwan. For me, photography is the medium that best holds a moment in time. No scene ever repeats itself in quite the same way; light shifts, people move. For this ongoing Life in Taiwan series, I primarily shoot on a 35mm film camera. While modern in many respects, parts of Taipei feel suspended in time. The muted, subtle imperfections of film complement Taipei’s lively character.
